Dear colleagues, friends and fellow researchers

The Nordic proteomics societies welcome you to the next Nordic Proteomics Conference, a three day scientific meeting which will be held from March 11 – 13, 2014 in Turku, an old Finnish city located in the South-West Finland. This biennial event is an international conference hosted by the proteomics societies from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Our aims is to attract researchers from around the world to present, discuss, network and encourage the wide and appropriate use of proteome technologies in fields of biology and life sciences.

The theme of the meeting is Quantitative Proteomics with the aim to highlight the methods that work well, our best success cases and emerging technologies in the field. There is an outstanding selection of keynote speakers from around the world and we have more than 30 places for additional talks, numerous placements for posters, and a session on poster highlights. For the program we will select those abstracts that show curiosity and biology driven questions that successfully highlight new or existing methods and technologies involving sample preparation, instrument developments and bioinformatics. We have also reserved ample time for networking and nordic adventures, including, skiing, skating, ice fishing and of course the Finnish Sauna. We hope that you will join us for what we expect to be an outstanding scientific and cultural event.
